I think the hardest part about selling a home is that once it is on the market, it stops being your home. It is no longer the place where memories are made or where loved ones come to visit. Selling a house can be a very invasive process. Agents and buyers come through the house, invade your space, and make judgments. They open closets, cupboards and drawers, and sometimes forget to wipe their feet before entering. Hopefully they are considerate of your personal belongings, but not always. So how can I help you minimize the stress?
Sell your house in the shortest amount of time and for the highest amount of money.
“Krista, that sounds great!” you say. “But how are you going to do that?” “Marketing,” I respond.
Effective marketing is the key to getting your home sold in the shortest time and for the most money. Aggressive, creative marketing of my Client’s property by every available medium is how I’ve become a top real estate agent. I will do everything I can to assure that you get as many offers as possible, allowing you to get the highest price the market will bear, and get it sold in the time frame you need.
The most important element to marketing your home is price. Set it too high and you may not even get people in the door; set it too low and you may not end up getting full market value. Together we will go over the current comparables, including what has and hasn’t sold, and we will look at market trends.
Next is appearance and condition. I will walk through your property and make suggestions and recommendations on how to properly prepare your home for sale. Not all homes need to be staged; however, in our area, staged homes traditionally sell faster and for more money. Buyers often make an offer based on an emotional response towards your house so the better it looks and the less work a potential buyer has to do, the better off you will be.
Once you have an accepted offer, as your agent I will negotiate the best deal for you. The good news? You are in the hands of a killer negotiator. This is why clients consistently refer people to me. Getting you the best price and the best terms is the best part of my job.
