Purchasing a home is like no other purchase you will ever make.  You are buying hopes and dreams, you are buying weekends doing little projects around the house, you are buying something which will hopefully bring you a little financial security, you are buying risk, you are buying a place to raise a family, you are buying a lifetime of memories.

There are a few steps that you will need to take.

• 1. Speak with a local, respected mortgage broker and become pre-approved.
• 2. Repair any credit issues and clean up your credit report.
• 3. Determine what you can afford every month for principal, interest, tax, and insurance.
• 4. Figure out your down payment how much will you have from all sources.

• 6. Make a list of what you want and don’t want in your next home, including maybes, deal breakers, and intangibles.
• 7. Begin looking for your future home!

Does this make you nervous?  Don’t worry, I will be with you for the entire ride.  Once you have located a home and have an accepted offer, another aspect of my job is to be sure you aren’t buying a lemon (unless, of course, it is for lemonade).  To help you determine the condition of the house I will connect you with home inspectors, structural engineers, roofers, and other trades people.  This way you will know exactly what you are buying. 

And then comes the fun part- negotiating.  The good news?  You are in the hands of a killer negotiator.   I will do everything I can to get you the best house for the best price.  This is why clients consistently refer people to me.
