Housing Kiosk’s

The World's First Burrito Kiosk

The World’s First Burrito Kiosk

Do you remember “Redbox,” where you could rent DVD’s from a kiosk?  Enter the world of food kiosks.  And not just the vending machine, latte making type.  We are talking actual warm food.  Just outside of a gas station in downtown Los Angeles you will find the new “Burrito Box” kiosk.  The ad says “they are 100% natural, no hormones, no antibiotics.”  The Burrito Box has a touch-screen menu that lets you choose between five burrito flavors at $3 each. Choose between Chorizo Sausage, Roasted Potato, Uncured Bacon, Free-Range Chicken and Shredded Beef, then opt to add sour cream, tabasco sauce and guacamole for an extra fee.

Now, imagine this in the world of real estate.  There are many apps out there that will allow you to see what houses are for sale in the neighborhood.  But how cool would it be for a real estate brokerage to have a similar interactive, touch screen system outside of their office which shows all neighboring homes for sale?  Or open houses?  Essentially it is bringing the real estate search one step closer to the user.

Now imagine a kiosk that could assist with designing a house, a remodel, or an addition?  Imagine having this located inside of a business that remodels houses?  The client could go in, pick and choose their wishes, and then talk to the contractor on site.

You may not get the smell of chorizo but frankly that isn’t a smell that would seem appetizing from a kiosk.
