Rockridge Deemed Luxurious

Matt Woolsey at Forbes loves to compile, collect, and claim.  Last week it was foreclosures, this week he has picked the 10 most luxurious, top-selling real estate markets in America.  #6 on the list?  Our own Rockridge, with a median price of $1.09mil and an average of 67 days on the market.

So I guess I would be prudent to point out a new Rockridge listing that I saw on Broker’s Tour yesterday that I am in love with!  The house, located on Ocean View Dr. (one of my favorite streets in all of RR), is centrally located to College Avenue. 

The description by listing agent Ron Kriss of Lawton Associates says in the MLS“Perfect 2-Story Rockridge Crafsman. This one has it all- Frplc, Gleaming Hrdwd Flrs, Leaded Glass Built-ins, Pocket Drs, Window Seats, Box Beams, Plate Rails, Vintage Lighting, & more. Big rooms, south facing yard, plenty of off st. parking.” 

I would have to agree, this house is indeed a perfect 2-story RR Craftsman and yes, it does have it all.  If only I were in the market for a new house…
